Do I need to know how to code?
No — not at all. You describe what you need in plain language, for example “push new shop orders into our ERP automatically”. Your own AI builds the rest — AintDumb sets the steps and checks each one. You won't write a single line of code.
How fast do I see something?
Fast. After a guided setup you describe your idea — and shortly after, a first preview runs in your browser that you tweak in plain words. The aim: days instead of classic project months, not a months-long agency start. Even within your 7-day trial you reach a finished, reviewed build.
What do I need to get started?
Two accounts, both quick and free to set up: a Claude account (the AI that builds on your machine) and a GitHub account (where your finished code is kept safe). Both are yours, not ours — and we set them up with you, click by click. The accounts are free to create; the AI usage itself is billed through your own Claude account at Anthropic (more under costs). No prior knowledge needed.
Is my data safe — and where is it?
Your data sits in the EU (eu-central-1) and we work to GDPR. Your live app and its real data run on your own hosting, not ours. The AI providers (for example Anthropic) don't use your content to train their models. We name the service providers we rely on (subprocessors) and have a data-processing agreement (DPA) in place.
Does a human review my software?
No — by design. Several independent AIs check each other, plus fixed scanners for technical risks that no one can switch off. The AI that builds never signs off its own work. That's faster and stricter than a single reviewer — but it's not an official certificate, and we'd rather say so plainly.
Where does my finished app run — do you host it?
On your own hosting — you stay in control. The preview runs with us so you see results quickly; the finished app you publish to your own server (e.g. Vercel or Netlify), guided step by step. We deliberately don't host your live app — so you're never locked in. And you don't do it alone: on request, our guided service path takes on more for you.
Do I really own the code?
Yes, fully. It lives in your GitHub and runs on your hosting, built with your own AI account. If you stop, you take everything with you — nothing stays stuck with us.
What if something doesn't work?
There's built-in self-help. “Repair automatically” lets the AI fix the problem for you. “Help me fix this” bundles a support package for us — without ever sharing your passwords. And in the pilot program you have a direct line to us.
What does it cost in total — which cost blocks should I expect?
Three separate cost blocks, honestly: 1. your AintDumb plan from €99 per project per month for preview, review and publishing — prepaid and capped, so no surprise bill from us. 2. Your own AI account (Claude, optionally Codex) for the building — paid directly to the provider, usage-based; rough ballpark up to about €400/month depending on usage, outside our cap. 3. Your hosting for the finished live app — often free to start, or a small EU machine (e.g. Hetzner) from a few euros per month. Full detail on the pricing page.
Do I need a separate plan for each app?
Yes — it's billed per project. Each app is its own project with its own monthly budget (from €99). You can link projects together later if they belong with each other.
Can I just try it and stop anytime?
Yes. 7 days free with a real project — add a card, nothing is charged during the trial. Not convinced? Just stop, no strings attached. After that you pay monthly per project, only for what you use.
Can I build large, complex software too?
Yes. No toy apps: real applications with a database, connections to your ERP, shop and other systems, custom dashboards, whole linked projects. The full power of the system is there — just without the technical baggage.
Which AI can I use?
Today, Claude or Codex — both run locally with your own account. Others like DeepSeek, Kimi or Grok are planned but not available yet. We'd rather be honest than over-promise.
Where are the limits — honestly?
Three things we say openly: we don't host your live app (preview with us, live with you). No human reviews it — AI does. And our review shows that only the reviewed build is handed over; it isn't a promise that nothing can ever go wrong, and it doesn't replace certification. You're ultimately responsible for running and the legal side of your app.
